NEW DELHI: A city court on Monday refused to order an FIR against actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for wearing shoes while shooting on a set designed as a temple, which according to petitioner Gaurav Gulati, had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
However, the court allowed Gulati to record pre-summoning evidence against the stars. Directing Gulati to substantiate his allegations, additional chief metropolitan magistrate Vandana Jain fixed October 14 as the date to record the pre-summoning evidence.
The stars have been given a clean chit in the case by Delhi Police.
